Dear our friends,

It is our pleasure to invite all of you to the 23rd International Symposium on Cerebral Blood Flow, Metabolism & Function (Brain’07) and the 8th International Conference on Quantification of Brain Function with PET (BrainPET’07) which will be held in Osaka on May 20-24, 2007.

The major goal of this symposium is to survey recent developments and to explore future directions in the field of Cerebral Blood Flow, Metabolism & Function. After the first meeting in Lund (Sweden) on 1963, this biennial meeting has been giving strong impact to clinical and basic sciences on human brain function. The current meeting in Osaka will focus on recent progress on 30 major topics including 12 symposia.

We hope that you enjoy academic discussion on this field, meet old friends, and make new friends during your stay in the second biggest city of Japan, where is close to the Japanese old capital Kyoto, Nara, and modern cities Kobe, Okayama, or Hiroshima.
